ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (bangalore), ಮಾ. 14: ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಉಪ ಸಮಿತಿ ವರದಿಯೇ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 14 ರಂದು ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಉಪ ಸಮಿತಿ ವರದಿ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಆತಂಕ ಏಕೆ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುವುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕೂಲಂಕುಷ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ಉಪ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಉಪ ಸಮಿತಿ ವರದಿ ಕೊಡುವುದು ಬಾಕಿ ಇದೆ. ವರದಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವರದಿ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ವಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಇಂತಹ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Bengaluru, March 14: No decision has been taken on the closure of universities. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has clarified that the Cabinet sub-committee report has not yet been received. He spoke in the Assembly on March 14. He responded that he did not understand why the BJP had started to panic even before the sub-committee report came out.

A sub-committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chief Minister to thoroughly examine this matter. The sub-committee is yet to submit its report. Once the report comes, it will be placed before the cabinet and a decision will be taken, he said.

The CM has clarified that it is not right to say that we will close universities before the report comes out, and such a decision was not made by us.
