ಸೊರಬ (sorab), ಏ. 7: ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯೊಂದರ ಕಾಂಪೌಂಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಕೊಠಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ, ಸ್ವತಃ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಶ್ರಮದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಸೊರಬ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹುರಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಏ. 7 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಖಾತ್ರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ, ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾಂಪೌಂಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಅಡುಗೆ ಕೋಣೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸದರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವತಃ ಪಿಕಾಸಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಅಡಿಪಾಯದ ಗುಂಡಿ ತೆಗೆದು, ನಂತರ ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ತಲೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದು ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.

ಸಚಿವರು ಶ್ರಮದಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು ಕೂಡ, ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Soraba, Apr. 7: The construction of a compound and a hot meal preparation room for a government school was inaugurated by Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa himself by donating his labor in the morning of Apr. 7 in Huruli village of Soraba taluk.

The local Gram Panchayat administration is planning to construct a compound and a kitchen for preparing hot meals for the village’s government higher primary school under the employment guarantee scheme.

The foundation stone laying ceremony for the project was held on Monday. During this event, Madhu Bangarappa, along with the villagers, personally dug a foundation pit with a pickaxe, then filled a bucket with soil and carried it on his head.
