ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ (shikaripura), ಏ. 10: ಡಕಾಯಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿಯೋರ್ವನ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ, ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಮಾಳೂರು ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ, ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕೆಂಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಬಡ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಏ. 10 ರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಯಾನೆ ಸೀನಾ (25) ಗುಂಡೇಟಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈತ ಮಾಳೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಮಹಿಷಿ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಡಕಾಯಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಈತನ ಪತ್ತೆಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಳೂರು ಠಾಣೆ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಮತ್ತವರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು, ಆತನ ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಆತ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದ.

ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಆರೋಪಿ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಿ ಕೆ ಮಿಥುನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Shikaripura | thirthahalli malur police open fire to arrest an accused of dacoity case : Shikaripura, April 10: An accused who was involved in a dacoity case and was absconding was arrested by the thirthahalli taluk Malur station police, on the afternoon of April 10 in the Tank Bud area near Kengudde in Shikaripura town. The accused who was shot has been identified as Srinivas alias Seena (25), a resident of Pragati Nagar in Shikaripura town.

He was an accused in a dacoity case that took place at Mahishi Math under the jurisdiction of Malur police station. The police were conducting a search operation to find him, who was absconding.

Based on information received in Shikaripura town, Malur police station Sub-Inspector Santosh and his staff were about to arrest him. During this time, he attacked PSI and staff Santosh. shimoga SP GK Mithun Kumar informed in a media message that the PSI immediately shot the accused in the leg and took him into custody.
