ಸಾಗರ (sagara), ಏ.12 : ಶರಾವತಿ ನದಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ, ಸಾಗರ ತಾಲೂಕು ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪ ಸಮೀಪದ ಬೆಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಏ. 11 ರಂದು ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪದ ರಂಗನಾಥ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಮಾಜಿ ಎಪಿಎಂಸಿ ನಾಮ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ (58) ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳಿಯರು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ಶವ ಹೊರತೆಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಸಾಗರ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Sagara: Man dies after drowning in Sharavathi river backwaters! :- sagara, April 12 : An incident in which a person drowned in the backwaters of the Sharavathi River took place on April 11 at Bellenne near Talaguppa in Sagar taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekar (58), a former APMC nominated member and a resident of Ranganath Colony in Talaguppa. The fire brigade and locals have recovered the body from the water. A case has been registered at the Sagar Rural Police Station in this regard.
