ಜೋಗಫಾಲ್ಸ್ (jogfalls), ಜೂ. 29: ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆಗೆ (monsoon rain) ಮೈದುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ, ವಿಶ್ವವಿಖ್ಯಾತ ಜೋಗ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಜನಸಾಗರ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ. ಜೂ. 29 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಕೂಡ. ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು (tourists) ಜಲಪಾತದ ಜಲಧಾರೆಯ ವೈಭೋಗ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ, ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆಯಿಂದ ದೌಡಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಜಲಪಾತದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಭಾರೀ ಮಳೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು (heavy rainfall). ಇದರಿಂದ ಮಂಜು ಮುಸುಕಿದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಆವರಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಮಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಇಳಿಮುಖವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಜಲಪಾತ (falls) ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಜಲಪಾತದ ಬಳಿ ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಬೀಳುವ ಮಳೆ, ಮಂಜು ಮುಸುಕಿದ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಹಚ್ಚ ಹಸಿರಿನ ನಡುವೆ ಹಾಲ್ನೊರೆಯಂತೆ ಧುಮ್ಮಿಕ್ಕುವ ಜಲಧಾರೆಯ ಸೊಬಗು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಮನಸೂರೆಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಶರಾವತಿ ಕಣಿವೆ (sharavati valley) ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಳೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಜೋಗ ಜಲಪಾತ (jog falls) ಭೋರ್ಗರೆಯಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಜೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ಧಾರೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರಜಾ ದಿನಗಳಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ವೀಕೆಂಡ್ ವೇಳೆ ಜನಸಾಗರವೇ ಹರಿದುಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಅಪಾರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಜಲಪಾತದ ಬಳಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೊಂದಲ – ಗಡಿಬಿಡಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗದಂತೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಹಲವು ರೀತಿಯ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

The frequent rains near the jog waterfall, the misty atmosphere, and the beauty of the water flowing like foam amidst the lush greenery are captivating tourists. Due to the good rains in the Sharavati Valley, the Jog Falls have started to overflow. Thousands of tourists have been visiting Jog for the past several weeks. Especially during holidays and weekends, there is a huge crowd.
