ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜುಲೈ 24: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕೊಮ್ಮನಾಳು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ, ಕೊಮ್ಮನಾಳು – ಬನ್ನಿಕೆರೆ ನಡುವಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ಕೆಸರು ಗದ್ದೆಯಂತಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಜನ-ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರ ದುಸ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೊಮ್ಮನಾಳು ಗ್ರಾಮದಿಂದ ಬನ್ನಿಕೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು 500 ಮೀಟರ್ ನಷ್ಟು ಉದ್ದದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಹಾಳಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಸರುಮಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಗುಂಡಿ-ಗೊಟರುಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ದೂರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವವರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಹಲವು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಸದರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ರಸ್ತೆ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆ ಪಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಅಳಲು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನ ಸವಾರರು, ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದವರು ರಸ್ತೆ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲು ತ್ವರಿತಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಗುಂಡಿ – ಗೊಟರು ಮುಚ್ಚಬೇಕು. ಸುಗಮ ಜನ – ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Villagers demand to fix the road chaos between Kommanalu – Bannikere in Shimoga taluk! | Shimoga, July 24: The road between Kommanalu – Bannikere under the jurisdiction of Kommanalu Gram Panchayat in Shimoga taluk has literally become a mud pit. Locals have alleged that it has become impassable for people and vehicles.
On the road leading from Kommanalu village to Bannikere, a length of approximately 500 meters is in a lot of disrepair. It is muddy due to rain. Villagers have complained that potholes and ditches have fallen.
Citizens of many surrounding villages, including those going to Shimoga city, travel on the said road daily. School children run around. Villagers have lamented that they are facing severe problems due to the road chaos.
Many two-wheeler riders and pedestrians have already fallen on the road. The villagers have demanded that those concerned should take immediate action to rectify the road chaos. The potholes and ditches should be closed and smooth movement of people and vehicles should be ensured.
