Shimoga, August 08: Considering the future growth of Shimoga city and its increasing population, there is a need for a new water purification plant to treat and supply water from the Tunga Dam, said Shimoga City MLA S. N. Channabasappa. He was speaking at the progress review meeting held on August 08 at the Shimoga Deputy Commissioner’s office auditorium, chaired by District In-charge Minister Madhu Bangarappa.
