ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ (shikaripur), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 02: ರಂಜಾನ್ ಹಬ್ಬದ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗಗ್ರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 01 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಗಲಾಟೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಪೊಲೀಸರು 9 ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರ್ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಲಾಟೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ದೂರುಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಾರಣವೇನು? : ರಂಜಾನ್ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮನೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಮೊತ್ತ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರ ನಡುವೆ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರ ನಡುವೆ ಮಾತಿನ ಚಕಮಕಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ತದನಂತರ ಇದು ವಿಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿದೆ. ಸಮೀಪದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡೂ ಕಡೆಯವರ ನಡುವೆ ಕೈ ಕೈ ಮಿಲಾವಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಲ್ಲು ತೂರಾಟವೂ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕಾಗಮಿಸಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Shivamogga, March 02: In connection with a clash between two groups of Muslims over the issue of collecting donations for the Ramadan festival in the Gagri area of Shikaripura town on March 01, police have arrested 9 people and produced them before the court, where they were remanded to judicial custody.
In the incident, three to four people were injured and admitted to hospital for treatment. It is reported that two separate complaints have been registered at the Shikaripura Town Police Station regarding the clash.
Reason: On the occasion of Ramadan, a meeting was organized at the local mosque. During the meeting, discussions were held about collecting donations from households. Differences of opinion arose among some individuals regarding the collection amount.
This led to arguments among those present at the meeting, which later escalated into a clash. On the nearby main road, both sides engaged in physical fights and stone-pelting. Upon learning of the incident, police arrived at the spot and brought the situation under control.
