Shimoga, September 10: In the Shimoga city limits – on the National Highway where thousands of vehicles travel daily, one side of the bridge’s retaining wall collapsed years ago creating a dangerous situation. Yet, till now, the concerned department officials have taken no action showing sheer negligence — sparking public outrage! This poor condition exists near Sharavathi Dental College at Gadikoppa, on the National Highway. The retaining wall on one side of the bridge built across the Tunga upper canal has collapsed.
