ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 01: ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಅರಬ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಕರೆತರಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅರಬ್ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿರುವ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ 30 ಜನರನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ಸು ಕರೆತರಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರಲ್ಲದೆ ದುಬೈ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕ್ರಮ: ಅರಬ್ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಸ್ಥಾನಿಕ ಆಯುಕ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದುಬೈ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಬಂದ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ತೆರೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆ ತರಲು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಭೋಜೇಗೌಡರು ದುಬೈದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಹೋಟೆಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತದ್ವಿರುದ್ದ ನಿಲುವು : ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ ಇರಾನ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ದಾಳಿ ಅನಗತ್ಯವಾದುದು. ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಠಿಸುವ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ ತದ್ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಿಲುವು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇರಾನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆಯಾತೊಲ್ಲಾ ಖಮೇನಿ ಹತ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರಶಾಂತಿ ದೊರೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಏರಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ : ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
“No Increase in Electricity Tariff”: CM Siddaramaiah’s Statement in Shivamogga
Shivamogga, March 01: The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the state government is in constant contact with the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure that Kannadigas stranded in Arab countries are brought back safely without any difficulties. Speaking to the media today at Shivamogga airport, he mentioned that 30 people from Ballari who are stuck in Arab countries will be brought back. He also assured that Indians in Dubai are safe.
Action Taken: Discussions have been held with the Chief Secretary and local commissioners regarding the safety of Kannadigas living in Arab countries. Since Dubai airport has been closed, arrangements will be made to bring them back to India safely once it reopens. MLC Bhojegowda, who is currently in Dubai, spoke to the Chief Minister over the phone and confirmed that he is safe in a hotel.
Opposing Stand: Siddaramaiah criticized the U.S. attack on Iran, calling it unnecessary. He said that while America preaches peace on one hand, it wages war on the other, which is contradictory. He condemned this stance. He also expressed condolences over the assassination of Iran’s President Ayatollah Khamenei, praying for his soul to rest in peace.
No Tariff Hike: Responding to a question from reporters about a possible electricity tariff hike in April, the Chief Minister clarified that there is currently no such proposal before the government.
