ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 02: ಬಾಲಕಿಯೋರ್ವಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದ ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವನಿಗೆ 20 ವರ್ಷ ಕಠಿಣ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ (ಎಫ್’ಟಿಎಸ್’ಸಿ-1) ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
30 ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವಕನೇ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ದಂಡ ಕೂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನೊಂದ ಬಾಲಕಿಗೆ 1.80 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾದ ನಿಂಗನಗೌಡ ಭ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಅವರು ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : 2022 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ 17 ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವತಿಗೆ, ಅಪರಾಧಿಯು ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದ್ದ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕುಂಸಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಂದಿನ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
30-year-old youth from Shivamogga taluk sentenced to 20 years in prison!
Shivamogga, May 02: The Additional District and Sessions Court (FTSC-1) has sentenced a youth to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a girl.
The 30-year-old youth is the culprit who has been sentenced to prison. Along with the prison sentence, a fine of Rs. 2 lakh has also been imposed. The court has ordered a compensation of Rs. 1.80 thousand to the aggrieved girl.
Judge Ninganagouda Bha Patil gave the verdict. Government prosecutor Sridhar argued on behalf of the government.
Background of the case: In 2022, the culprit had sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. A case was registered in this regard at the Kumsi police station.
