ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 24 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ ತಂಡ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದೆ.
ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26 ರ ಬುಧವಾರ ಕೂಡ ಬೋಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಶೋಧ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು ಐದಾರು ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದವರೆಗೆ ತಂಡ ಶೋಧ ನಡೆಸಿದರೂ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸುಳಿವು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಠಾಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹುಸೇನ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಎಲ್ ಎಫ್ ಸುನೀಲ್, ಗಣೇಶ್, ಮಾರುತಿ, ಸಂತೋಷ್, ನಿಹಾರ್, ಸತೀಶ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಘಟನೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 24 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ ಮೂಲದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೋರ್ವರು ಕೌಟಂಬಿಕ ಕಲಹದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಹೊಳೆ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಸಮೀಪದ ಚಿಕ್ಕಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಅರಕೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಬಳಿಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಹಳಿಯ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ನದಿಗೆ ಹಾರಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ 11 ತಿಂಗಳ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲನಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಮಹಿಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಗ್ಗಾನ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ 6 ವರ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ 4 ವರ್ಷದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸುಳಿವು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Search enters 3rd day in Tunga river in Shivamogga – clue to two missing children! | Shivamogga, August 26: The fire brigade team has continued the search operation for two girls who went missing in Tunga river in Shivamogga city on the evening of August 24.
On Wednesday, August 26, the search was also conducted by boat and has entered the third day. The team searched for about five to six km. However, no trace of the two children was found.
Under the leadership of Fire Station Officer Hussain, personnel such as LF Sunil, Ganesh, Maruti, Santosh, Nihar, Satish, etc. are involved in the operation.
Background of the incident: On the evening of August 24, a woman from Chitradurga jumped into the river with her three children from the railway tracks near the Arakeshwar temple on Chikkal Road near Hole bus stand in Shivamogga due to a family dispute.
A young man was able to rescue a woman and an 11-month-old baby boy. The woman and the baby were admitted to the government-run Meggan Hospital. However, there was no trace of the two girls, aged 6 and 4.
