ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 08: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಚೋರಡಿ ಬಳಿ ಕಾರು ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದ ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ, ನೆರವಾದ ಸಾಗರದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 7 ರಂದು ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಸಿಗಂದೂರಿಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರೊಂದು ಚೋರಡಿ ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿ ಡಿವೈಡರ್ ಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿತ್ತು. ಆರು ಜನರು ಕಾರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗುಡ್ಡೇಕಲ್ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಬಂದೋಬಸ್ತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಸಾಗರದ ಟೌನ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಮೀರಾಬಾಯಿ, ಹೆಡ್ ಕಾನ್ಸ್’ಟೇಬಲ್’ಗಳಾದ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮ, ರಿಂದೂ ಬಾಯಿ, ಸಾಗರ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಕಾನ್ಸ್’ಟೇಬಲ್ ನೇತ್ರಾವತಿರವರು ಕಾರೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರು ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಆರು ಜನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ವಾಹನವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಗ್ಗಾನ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮೆರೆದಿದ್ದರು.
ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ, ಮಾನವೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಕಾಲಿಕ ನೆರವಿನಹಸ್ತವು ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೂಡ ಸದರಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ.
Shimoga, August 08: The humane act of women police officers from Sagar, who rescued and assisted victims of a car accident near Choradi in Shimoga taluk, has won praise from the district police department. On the morning of August 7, a car traveling from Bengaluru to Sigandur overturned after hitting a divider near the Choradi bridge. Six people were trapped inside the vehicle.
At the same time, Sagar Town Police Station ASI Meerabai, Head Constables Lalitamma and Rindubai, and Constable Netravati from Sagar Rural Police Station were traveling in another car to Shimoga city for bandobast duty at the Guddekal Jatra Mahotsava.
Upon noticing the overturned car, the women police officers rushed to rescue the six trapped passengers. They arranged for the injured to be admitted to Shimoga’s Government McGann Hospital for treatment, displaying compassion and humanity.
Their sense of duty, timely assistance, and humanitarian gesture earned appreciation from citizens. The district police department also formally commended the women officers for their exemplary service.
