ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 14: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ವಿನೋಬನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 14 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಕೆಹೆಚ್’ಬಿ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯ ಭಗತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಅಹವಾಲು ಸಭೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ ಬಿ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಸಂಘದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸೋಮಿನಕೊಪ್ಪ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬೀಟ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಟಿ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಅಹವಾಲು : ‘ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮದ್ಯ ವ್ಯಸನಿಗಳ ಹಾವಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಹಗಲು – ರಾತ್ರಿ ಗಸ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಬೀಟ್ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ ಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿದ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ವಾಹನಗಳ ವೇಗ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾಗಳ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು’ ಎಂಬುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಟಿ ರವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ‘ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
‘ಕಳ್ಳಕಾಕರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿರಬೇಕು. ಅನುಮಾನಾಸ್ಪದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮೈಮೇಲೆ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಾಡುವ ವೇಳೆ ಜಾಗೃತರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ತುರ್ತು ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ 112 ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ನೆರವು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕಾನೂನು – ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಭಂಗ ತರುವ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ. ಅಂತಹವರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗೌಪ್ಯವಾಗಿಡಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಾಗರೀಕರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ಜನಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಸದರಿ ಸಭೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಟಿ ರವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಕೊಟ್ರೇಶಪ್ಪರವರು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅಮರ್ ಗ್ರಾನೈಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಹರೀಶ್ ವಿ ವೈಷ್ಣವ್ ಅವರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಬಿ ರೇಣುಕೇಶ್, ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಯಲ್ಲ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, , ಯುವ ಮುಖಂಡ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಶರತ್, ಹಿರಿಯರಾದ ನಾಗರತ್ನಮ್ಮ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಉರುಮತ್ ಉನ್ನೀಸಾ, ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಸಚಿನ್, ಆರ್ ವಿಜಯ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ವೇದಶ್ರೀ, ಉದಯ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಫೈಜಲ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿದ್ದರು.
Public Grievance Meeting by Vinobanagar Police Station, Shivamogga
Shivamogga, March 14: Vinobanagar Police Station in Shivamogga organized a public grievance meeting on the evening of March 14 at Bhagat Singh Road, KHB Press Colony. The meeting was arranged in collaboration with the KHB Press Colony Residents’ Welfare Association. Police beat staff member Akash T from Sominakoppa participated as the chief guest.
Grievances raised:
- Control the menace of alcohol addicts in public areas around the locality.
- Arrange day and night patrolling.
- Establish beat points.
- Take measures to control overspeeding vehicles on the state highway.
- Ensure precautionary measures for women’s safe movement.
- Install CCTV cameras on the main roads of the colony.
Police staff Akash T assured: “The grievances raised by citizens will be brought to the attention of senior officers. Steps will be taken to resolve the issues within a time frame.”
He further advised:
- Be alert about thieves.
- Share information about suspicious persons.
- Women should be cautious while wearing gold ornaments in public.
- In emergencies, call the police helpline number 112 for assistance.
- Strict action will be taken against miscreants who trouble citizens.
- Citizens should fearlessly provide information about criminals disturbing law and order; such information will be kept confidential.
He emphasized that all necessary measures will be taken by the police department for public safety. The meeting was organized as part of citizen-friendly policing and will be held regularly.
Resident leader Kotrashappa gave the introductory speech. Harish V. Vaishnav, head of Amar Granite, offered the vote of thanks.
