Shivamogga, October 13: A case involving the encroachment of land worth crores of rupees—belonging to the Shivamogga-Bhadravathi Urban Development Authority—for the construction of a layout has come to light in the Kuvempu Nagar locality of Shivamogga. Acting on complaints from local citizens, C.G. Madhusudan, Chairman of the Urban Development Authority, and Commissioner B.R. Manjunath visited Kuvempu Nagar on the evening of October 13 to inspect the site and examine the relevant documents. During the visit, local residents met the officials and voiced their grievances.
