ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 04: ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಾಗರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಬೇಸೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಮಾಣು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಎನ್ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ಟಿಪಿಸಿ (NTPC) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಬೇಸೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಮಾಣು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಜಮೀನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುವುದು ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಪರಮಾಣು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಜಮೀನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಕೇವಲ ವದಂತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಅನಾವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
No proposal submitted for setting up a nuclear power plant in Besuru, Sagar taluk: Shimoga District Administration Clarifies
Shivamogga, May 04: Shimoga District Magistrate Hemanth N has denied the news that a nuclear power plant will be set up in Besuru village of Sagar taluk in the district.
For the past few days, there have been reports on social media that NTPC has identified land for setting up a nuclear power plant in Besuru village. The news that the process is underway in this regard was widely circulated. It has been noticed that the local villagers and the public are worried due to this news.
No proposal has been submitted to the government by the Shimoga District Administration for the purpose of setting up a nuclear power plant.
He clarified that the process of identifying land or setting up the plant is just a rumor and the public does not need to be worried unnecessarily.
