ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ, (shikaripura), ಜೂನ್ 19: ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಟೌನ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಖಚಿತ ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುನೀಲ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ್ (32) ಹಾಗೂ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಟಿ ವಿ (30) ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಂದ 15 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 658 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಗಾಂಜಾವನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಎನ್’ಡಿಪಿಎಸ್ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ
ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶರತ್ ಹೆಚ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜೂನ್ 19 ರಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Shikaripura: Two arrested for selling ganja on the roadside!
Shikaripura, June 19: In an incident reported from Shikaripura town, police arrested two individuals accused of selling ganja on the roadside.
Acting on confirmed information, the police carried out the operation. The arrested have been identified as Sunil Naik (32) and Sunil T.V. (30).
From the accused, police seized 658 grams of ganja worth ₹15,000. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
The operation was led by Sub-Inspector Sharath H., according to a press release issued by the police department on June 19.
