ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ (thirthahalli ), ಜೂನ್ 20: ನೀರಿನ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಕೇಬಲ್ ಕಳವು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವನನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಮಾಳೂರು ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ರಾಗಿಗುಡ್ಡದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಸ್ ಕೆ (31) ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಯಿಂದ 93 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 750 ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದದ ಕೇಬಲ್ ವೈರ್ ನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಾಳೂರು ಠಾಣೆ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಬಿ ಸಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಎಸ್ಐಗಳಾದ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಬಿ, ಸುರೇಶ್ ಎನ್, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ್, ಪುನೀತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಕೇಶವಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಚೇತನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಸಾದುದ್ದೀನ್, ಮಂಜು, ವಸಂತ, ಸುರೇಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ್ ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮುಡುಬಾ, ಹೊಸಳ್ಳಿ, ತೂದೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಗೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕೇಬಲ್ ವೈರ್ ನ್ನು ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ರೈತರು ಮಾಳೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
thirthahalli : Water motor cable theft – accused from Shivamogga arrested!
thirthahalli, June 20: In connection with the theft of water motor cables, police from Maluru station in thirthahalli taluk have arrested a youth from Shivamogga.
The accused has been identified as Kumar S.K. (31), a resident of Ragigudda, Shivamogga. From him, police recovered 750 meters of cable wire worth ₹93,000.
The arrest was carried out under the leadership of Maluru station Sub-Inspector Sunil B.C., assisted by ASIs Nagaraj B. and Suresh N., along with staff members Surakshit, Puneeth Kumar, Keshavamurthy, Santosh Kumar, Chetan Kumar, Sudhakar, Saduddin, Manju, Vasanth, and Suresh Naik.
Case background: Cable wires installed for water motors in Muduba, Hosalli, and Thooduru villages of thirthahalli taluk had been stolen. Farmers had lodged complaints regarding these thefts at Maluru Police Station.
