ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜೂನ್ 26: ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆ ಕಣ್ಣಾಮುಚ್ಚಾಲೆಯಾಟದಿಂದ ಕೆರೆಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಪಶುಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಅಬ್ಬಲಗೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಗೃಹ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ಬಳಿಯಿದ್ದ ಜಾನುವಾರು ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಗೋಡೆಗಳು ಬಿರುಕು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಿಂದ, ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಸ್ಥಗಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಸದರಿ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ನೂರಾರು ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳ ದಾಹ ಇಂಗಿಸುವ ತಾಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಸ್ಥಗಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ, ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳು ಪರಿತಪಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ದುರಸ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಅಬ್ಬಲಗೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ರಾಜಪ್ಪ ಹೆಚ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಗ್ರಾಪಂ ಆಡಳಿತವು ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ದುರಸ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನೂರಾರು ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಾಪಂ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಿಡಿಓ ರಾಜಪ್ಪ ಹೆಚ್ ಅವರ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಿ : ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬರಗಾಲ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಪಶುಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸದರಿ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ಸಮೀಪ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗ್ರಾಪಂ ಆಡಳಿತ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೂಕಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ದಾಹ ಇಂಗಿಸುವ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಬಿ ರೇಣುಕೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಅಬ್ಬಲಗೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಪಂ ಆಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Shivamogga: Repair of drinking water tank for cattle – Congratulations to the Gram Panchayat Administration
Shivamogga, June 26: Due to the insidiousness of monsoon rains, the water storage in the ponds has completely reduced. This is affecting the drinking water of livestock and birds.
Meanwhile, due to the cracks in the walls of the cattle tank near the public park of the Karnataka Housing Board Layout in the limits of Abbalagere Gram Panchayat, water supply to the cattle had been stopped for the past several days.
The said tank was a thirsty place for hundreds of cattle from the surrounding villages. Due to the stoppage of water supply in the tank, the cattle were suffering for water.
Recently, a request was made to Abbalagere Gram Panchayat Administrative Officer Santosh Kumar and Panchayat Development Officer Rajappa H by the local residents’ welfare development association to repair the tank and provide facilities to the cattle.
Responding to this, the Gram Panchayat administration repaired the tank and started supplying water. This has helped hundreds of cattle. Local residents have congratulated Gram Panchayat Administrator Santosh Kumar and PDO Rajappa H for their humanitarian work.
Build another tank: Currently, there is a drought situation due to lack of monsoon rains. For this reason, the Gram Panchayat administration should take steps to build another drinking water tank near the public park of the said block for drinking water for livestock and birds. Journalist B Renukesh has urged the Abbalagere Gram Panchayat administration to do a humanitarian work to quench the thirst of mute animals.
