ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 23: ಪ್ರೇಮ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮನನೊಂದು ಚಲಿಸುವ ರೈಲಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿ, ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಹಳಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ 18 ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನ್ಯೂಟೌನ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ನ್ಯೂಟೌನ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ನಾಗರಾಜ ಹೆಚ್.ಸಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಸಲೀಂ ಹೆಚ್.ಜಿ. ಎಂಬುವರು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 22 ರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಗಸ್ತು ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಹುತ್ತ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ ಬಳಿ ತೆರಳಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವ ಹಳಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಲೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಮಲಗಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಅನುಮಾನದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಹಳಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ಕರೆತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರೇಮ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಮನನೊಂದು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಯುವಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ತದನಂತರ ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಸ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಸಕಾಲಿಕ ಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವನ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಯುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.

Bhadravati | Love Failure – Police Rescue Youth Attempting Suicide!
Bhadravati, February 23: An 18-year-old youth, distressed over a failed love affair, attempted suicide by lying down on a railway track to be hit by a moving train. He was rescued by Bhadravati Newtown Police.
On the night of February 22, police staff members Nagraj H.C. and Saleem H.G. were patrolling. While inspecting near Hutta railway track, they noticed a young man lying on the track with his head placed on it.
Suspecting something was wrong, the officers rushed to the spot and took the youth into custody. Upon inquiry, the youth revealed that he had attempted suicide due to heartbreak.
Later, the police called his parents to the station and handed him over to them. Thanks to the timely intervention of the patrolling officers, the young man’s life was saved.
