ಹೊಸನಗರ (hosanagara), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 04: ಮನೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಚಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಆಭರಣ ದೋಚಿ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಭಟ್ಕಳದ ನಾಲ್ವರನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹೊಸನಗರ ತಾಲೂಕು ನಗರ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಇಮ್ರಾನ್ ಇಕ್ಕೇರಿ (25), ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಅಖೀಲ್ (24), ಅಮೀರ್ ಹಸನ್ ಬ್ಯಾರಿ (29) ಹಾಗೂ ಬೇಬಿ ಹಾಜಿರ (55) ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇವರಿಂದ 3.80 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 30 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಕ್ಲೇಸ್, 93 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 6 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಬಂಗಾರದ್ ಬ್ರಾಸ್’ಲೇಟ್, 5 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 50 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಆಭರಣ, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಪೋನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದ ಇಟಿಯೋಸ್ ಕಾರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಿವೈಎಸ್ಪಿ ಅರವಿಂದ ಕಲಗುಜ್ಜಿ, ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಎಂ ಐ ಗೌಡಪ್ಪಗೌಡ್ರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಕೋಳಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಗಳಾದ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಟಿ, ಶೇಖ್ ಅಮೀರ್ ಜಾನ್, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಗಿರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್, ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್, ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶಿವಕುಮಾರನಾಯ್ಕ್, ರವಿಚಂದ್ರ, ಸಚಿನ್, ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್, ಅಕ್ಷಯ್, ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ, ಅನುಷಾ, ಮಧುಸೂಧನ್, ಶಶಿಧರ, ಗುರುರಾಜ್, ಇಂದ್ರೇಶ್ ರವರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : 27-12-2025 ರಂದು ಹೊಸನಗರ ತಾಲೂಕು ಗೌರಿಕೆರೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಎಂಬುವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಚಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅವರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga District Town Police Operation: Four from Bhatkal Arrested!Hosanagar, March 04: On charges of stealing gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from a house and escaping, four persons from Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district have been successfully arrested by the Hosanagar Taluk Nagara Police in Shivamogga district.
The arrested accused are identified as:
- Mohammad Imran Ikkery (25)
- Mohammad Akheel (24)
- Ameer Hassan Bairy (29)
- Baby Hajira (55)
From them, police have seized:
- Gold necklace weighing 30 grams worth ₹3.80 lakh
- Gold bracelet weighing 6 grams worth ₹93,000
- Silver ornaments weighing 50 grams worth ₹5,000
- Mobile phone
- Etios car used in the crime
Under the supervision of DySP Aravind Kalagujji and Circle Inspector M. I. Gowdappagoudra, the operation was led by Sub-Inspector Shivananda Koli, assisted by ASIs Kumar T, Sheikh Ameer Jan, and staff members Kiran Kumar, Giriprasad, Vishwanath, Praveen Kumar, Shivakumaranayak, Ravichandra, Sachin, Manjunath, Lakshman, Akshay, Shilpa, Anusha, Madhusudhan, Shashidhar, Gururaj, and Indresh, who succeeded in tracing the accused.
Case Background: On 27-12-2025, a theft occurred at the residence of Rajendra Shetty in Gaurikere, Hosanagar Taluk. Gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees were stolen. In this regard, he lodged a complaint at the Town Police Station.
