ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 29 : ಗೊಂದಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಗರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿರುವ ಕುವೆಂಪು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿರುದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಿಡಿದೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 29 ರಂದು ಎನ್ಎಸ್’ಯುಐ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ವೇಳೆ, ಆಕ್ರೋಶಭರಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಂಕರಘಟ್ಟದ ವಿವಿಯ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಂಧಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾನಿರತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದಿಡೀರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾ ನುಗ್ಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೂವಿನ ಕುಂಡಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕುರ್ಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪು ಮಸಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ಹೊರ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಮುಷ್ಕರ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕುವೆಂಪು ವಿವಿ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಆಂತರಿಕ ಕಚ್ಚಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿದೆ. ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದಲೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ1, 3 ಮತ್ತು 5 ನೇ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
ಕಳೆದೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಗಳಿಂದ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿವಿಯ ವೆಬ್ ಸೈಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಗೊಂದಲಕ್ಕೀಡು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ನೂರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಒಂದು ಬಾರಿ ಪಾಸ್ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಾರಿ ಫೇಲ್ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗೊಂದಲ್ಕಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ಎಡವಟ್ಟು, ವಿವಿ ಅಧೀನದ ಹಾಸ್ಟೆಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ N S U I ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ವಿಜಯ್, ಕಾರ್ಯಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರವಿ ಕಾಟಿಕೆರೆ, ನಗರಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರವಿ, ನಗರ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಆದಿತ್ಯ, ಸುಭಾನ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಚಂದ್ರೋಜಿ ರಾವ್, ವರುಣ್ ವಿ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Shivamogga: Students protest against Kuvempu University chaos – riot in the office!
Shivamogga, April 29: Students have protested against Kuvempu University, which has become a hotbed of chaos and disorder. On April 29, during the NSUI protest, angry students protested at the office of the Vice Chancellor of the university in Shankarghat.
The protesting students suddenly stormed the office shouting slogans. They smashed flower pots and chairs. They also smeared black ink on the boards to vent their anger. The students are protesting saying that they will not call off the strike until the Vice Chancellor is dismissed.
The Kuvempu University administration is mired in internal strife. Since the day the Vice Chancellor took office, no steps have been taken to facilitate the students. The protesters have accused him of being completely negligent.
The results of the 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters, which were written 5 months ago, have not been announced. No exam marksheets have been distributed for 3 years. Due to this, students who have completed their degrees are not able to go for further studies or find jobs.
The convocation ceremony has not been organized for the last two years. The results published on the university website were quite confusing. The results of hundreds of students were shown as pass once, and as fail the next time. Due to this, the students are confused.
The protesters have demanded solutions to various problems including increase in examination fees, digital evaluation glitches, and chaos in the hostels under the university.
N S U I District President Vijay, Working President Ravi Katikere, City President Ravi, City Vice Presidents Aditya, Subhan, General Secretaries Chandroji Rao, Varun V Pandit and others were present in the protest.
