Bengaluru, May 27: Speculation about a change in leadership in the state has intensified. There are strong possibilities that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah may resign on May 28.
It is being said that Siddaramaiah, who is ready to follow the orders of the party high command, might step down from the CM post. In this context, he has reportedly sought time to meet the Governor tomorrow.
He has requested an appointment with Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot on May 28. During this meeting, Siddaramaiah is expected to submit his resignation letter to the Governor. Most likely, his decision to resign will become officially clear tomorrow morning.
Pressure: On the other hand, Siddaramaiah’s close associates are unhappy with the high command’s instructions. They have started pressuring him not to resign from the CM post under any circumstances.
