ಆಗುಂಬೆ (agumbe), ಜೂನ್ 11: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ169ಎ ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ವಾಹನಗಳ (ಜಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಾಣೆ ತುಂಬಿದ ವಾಹನಗಳ) ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ದಿ: 15/06/2026 ರಿಂದ ಮಳೆಗಾಲ ಮುಗಿಯುವವರೆಗೂ ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಭುಲಿಂಗ ಕವಳಿಕಟ್ಟಿ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹೊಸನಗರ-ಮಾಸ್ತಿಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ ಘಾಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಕುಸಿತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ರಕ್ಷಣಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 169 ಎ ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ-ಮಲ್ಪೆ-ಉಡುಪಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಓಡಾಟವಿದೆ.
ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದು ಮುಂದುವರಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಬದಿಯ ಭೂಕುಸಿತ ಆಗುವ, ಅಫಘಾತವಾಗುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಓಡಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗುವ ಸಂಭವ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಅರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಣಿಪಾಲ್, ಉಡುಪಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾವೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಬಂದ್ ಆದರೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗುವ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಾದ ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ –ಉಡುಪಿ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವಾಹನಗಳು ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ-ನಗರ-ನಾಗೋಡಿ-ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು-ಕುಂದಾಪುರ-ಉಡುಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ-ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ-ಕೆರೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಬಜಗೋಳಿ-ಕಾರ್ಕಳ-ಉಡುಪಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವುದು.
ಉಡುಪಿ- ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಉಡುಪಿ-ಕುಂದಾಪುರ-ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು-ನಾಗೋಡಿ-ನಗರ-ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಕಳ-ಬಜಗೋಳಿ-ಕೆರೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ- ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Heavy vehicles banned from Agumbe Ghati
Shivamogga, June 11: The traffic of heavy vehicles (vehicles loaded with gravel and goods) on National Highway 169A Agumbe Ghati has been banned from 15/06/2026 until the end of the monsoon season and they will be moved via alternative routes, District Collector Prabhulinga Kavalikatti has ordered.
Due to the incomplete completion of temporary protective works after the landslide at Hulikal Ghati, which connects Kundapur and Udupi via Hosanagar-Mastikatte route from Shivamogga, there is heavy traffic on Agumbe Ghati on National Highway 169A Thirthahalli-Malpe-Udupi road. If this continues in the coming days, there is a possibility of landslides, accidents and inconvenience to the public. And this order has been issued in the backdrop of the fact that the connectivity of citizens of Shivamogga, Davangere, Chitradurga and Haveri districts going to Manipal, Udupi, Mangaluru is being disrupted due to health issues, but the citizens of the four districts are facing a lot of inconvenience.
Vehicles going towards Thirthahalli-Udupi on alternative routes will be operated via Thirthahalli-Nagar-Nagodi-Kollur-Kundapur-Udupi and Thirthahalli-Sringeri-Kerekate-Bajagoli-Karkala-Udupi.
Vehicles going towards Udupi-Thirthahalli will be operated via Udupi-Kundapur-Kollur-Nagodi-Nagar-Thirthahalli and Karkala-Bajagoli-Kerekate-Sringeri-Thirthahalli.
