ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 26: ‘ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಶತೃಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮಿತ್ರರೂ ಅಲ್ಲ…’ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹಲವು ವೇಳೆ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅತಿರಥ – ಮಹಾರಥ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಾದ, ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ – ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ನಿಜವಾಗಿದೆ!
ಸದ್ಯದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ತದ್ವಿರುದ್ದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿರುದ್ದವೇ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ತೊಡೆ ತಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ತೊರೆದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತರ ಬಳಗ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಅಖಾಡಕ್ಕಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರು.
ಎರಡೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಆರೋಪ – ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾರೋಪ ಮುಗಿಲು ಮುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ – ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಜೋಡಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾಗುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ, ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮುಖ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡದ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವೈಮನಸ್ಸು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದೆಲ್ಲ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಆದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪುತ್ರ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಅವರ ವಿವಾಹ ಆರತಕ್ಷತೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಲೆಕಳಗಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗಿನ ವೈಮನಸ್ಸು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪರವರು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೆಲ್ಲ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದವು.
ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಟೀಂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮರು ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಭಕ್ತರ ಬಳಗ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪುತ್ರ ಕೆ ಇ ಕಾಂತೇಶ್ ರನ್ನು ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಗೆ ತರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗುಣಗಾನ : ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯೇ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 27 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪರವರು, ಸಂಸದ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ಗುಣಗಾನ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಹೊಸ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
‘ಶರಾವತಿ ಪಂಪ್ ಸ್ಟೋರೇಜ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅನುಮತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಂಸದ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದು ಸ್ವಾಗತಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿದೆ… ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಹಳ ಆಕ್ಟೀವ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಎಂಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ…’ ಎಂದೆಲ್ಲ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕುತೂಹಲ : ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ – ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ನಡುವಿದ್ದ ವೈಮನಸ್ಸು ತಣ್ಣಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪರವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮರು ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯತ್ತ ಚಿತ್ತ ಹರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಅಣತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪರವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರಾ? ಯಾವಾಗ? ಎಂಬಿತ್ಯಾದಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

*** ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ದೂರ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ವೇಳೆ, ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಪುತ್ರ ಬಿ ವೈ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಅಖಾಡಕ್ಕಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರು. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಈಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಕೂಡ ತುಳಿಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡದಿರುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವೆಂಬಂತೆ, ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಪುತ್ರ ಕೆ ಇ ಕಾಂತೇಶ್ ರನ್ನು ಅಖಾಡಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿರುವಂತೆ ಪುತ್ರ ನ ಜೊತೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
“Shivamogga : MP B.Y. Raghavendra Praised by K.S. Eshwarappa – His Political Move Sparks Curiosity?!”
Shivamogga, March 26: The saying “In politics, there are no permanent enemies or friends…” has often proven true in Shivamogga’s political landscape. This is especially evident in the careers of heavyweight leaders B.S. Yediyurappa and K.S. Eshwarappa.
Currently, the two families stand on opposite sides. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Eshwarappa openly opposed the Yediyurappa family. He quit the BJP and formed the Rashtrabhakthara Balaga organization, even contesting against B.Y. Raghavendra.
The rivalry between the two families had reached its peak, with accusations and counter-accusations flying. Analysts even claimed reconciliation was impossible, as the families had stopped acknowledging each other altogether.
However, last year, Eshwarappa surprised many by attending the wedding reception of Raghavendra’s son Subhash in Shikaripura. This move sparked speculation that the hostility had ended and that Eshwarappa might rejoin the BJP.
Despite the buzz, Eshwarappa has not yet returned to the BJP fold. Instead, he remains active in Shivamogga through his Rashtrabhakthara Balaga organization, focusing on bringing his son K.E. Kantesh into politics.
Praise: Amid these developments, on March 27 in Shivamogga city, Eshwarappa publicly praised MP B.Y. Raghavendra at a press conference. He said: “It is commendable that Raghavendra stated the central government has not approved the Sharavathi Pump Storage Project. He has done a lot of good work in Shivamogga district. He is a very active MP…”
Curiosity: This has fueled talk that the Yediyurappa–Eshwarappa rivalry has cooled. Rumors suggest Eshwarappa is considering rejoining the BJP and is waiting for the high command’s approval. The big question remains: Will he return, and if so, when?
Focus on Son K.E. Kantesh: Meanwhile, B.S. Yediyurappa has already stepped back from electoral politics. In the last assembly elections, his son B.Y. Vijayendra contested from Shikaripura. Similarly, reports suggest Eshwarappa may also retire from contesting elections.
Instead, he is planning to field his son K.E. Kantesh from the Shivamogga assembly constituency in the upcoming elections. With two and a half years still left for the polls, Eshwarappa is already actively moving around Shivamogga city alongside his son, preparing the ground for his political entry.
