ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 07: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಸೋಮಿನಕೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿ ಶ್ವಾನವೊಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ, ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಶ್ವಾನಗಳ ಸೆರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ.
ಮೇ 06 ಹಾಗೂ 07 ರಂದು ನಾಯಿಯೊಂದು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾನುವಾರು ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಮನೆ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರಿಗೆ ಕಚ್ಚಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಕಳು ಕರುವೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಚ್ಚಿತ್ತು. ಸದರಿ ನಾಯಿ ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೆ, ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಸೋಮಿನಕೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ವಾನಗಳ ಸೆರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
Street Dog Capture Operation in Sominakoppa, Shivamogga!
Shivamogga, May 07: Following an incident where a stray dog attacked both residents and livestock in Sominakoppa, Shivamogga city, the municipal administration has launched a dog-catching operation.
On May 06 and 07, the dog suddenly began attacking citizens and animals. A young girl playing in front of her house and a passerby on the road were bitten and injured. The dog also bit a calf.
Citizens demanded that the dog be captured immediately. In response, the municipal administration carried out a stray dog-catching operation in Sominakoppa.
