ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 07: ಮನೆ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರ ಮೇಲೆ, ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಯೊಂದು ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ 1 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಸೋಮಿನಕೊಪ್ಪ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
4 ವರ್ಷದ ಇರ್ಜಾ ಕೌನೇನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾನಾಯ್ಕ್ ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿ ದಾಳಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾದವರೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
‘ಮೇ 6 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಯಿ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಐದಾರು ಕಡೆ ಕಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ಬಾಲಕಿಯ ಕಿರುಚಾಟ ಗಮನಿಸಿ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ನಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೋಮಿನಕೊಪ್ಪ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳ ಹಾವಳಿ ವಿಪರೀತವಾಗಿದೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಇವುಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡ ಶಾಮೀರ್ ಪಾಷಾ ಅವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
‘ಮೇ 7 ರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾನಾಯ್ಕ್ ಎಂಬುವರು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ನಾಯಿ ಕಚ್ಚಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಕಳ ಕರುವೊಂದರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸದರಿ ನಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡ ಮುಸ್ಸಿ ಗೌಡರವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Stray dog attacks two people, including a girl, in Sominakoppa, Shimoga!
Shimoga, May 07: A stray dog attacked and injured a girl who was playing in front of her house and a person walking on the road in the 1st ward of the Municipal Corporation’s Sominakoppa barangay.
4-year-old Irja Kounen and Krishna Naik have been identified as the victims of the stray dog attack. The seriously injured girl is being admitted to a private hospital and is being treated.
‘On the evening of May 6, a dog attacked the girl and bit her on five or six sides. Hearing the girl’s screams, the neighbors chased the dog away. The menace of stray dogs around Sominakoppa barangay is very high. Immediate action should be taken to control them,’ local leader Shamir Pasha has demanded.
‘On the morning of May 7, a person named Krishna Naik was walking on the road when a dog bit his leg and injured him. “It also attacked a cow. The dog should be caught immediately,” local leader Mussi Gowda has demanded.
