ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 13: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ವಿನೋಬನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ, ಯುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಮೇ 13 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಂಸದರ ಮನೆಯತ್ತ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ವಿನೋಬನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಚೌಕಿ ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಡೆದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ನಡುವೆ ತಳ್ಳಾಟ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿಫಲ : ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ನೀಟ್ – ಯುಜಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತರಖಾಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಸೋರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ವದಂತಿಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬಿದ್ದವು. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಟ್ – ಯುಜಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಾದರ್ಶಕವಾಗಿ ನೀಟ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಜವಳಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಚೇತನ್ ಗೌಡ, ಯುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹರ್ಷಿತ್ ಗೌಡ, ಮುಖಂಡ ಸಿ ಜೆ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga Youth Congress workers attempt to lay siege to MP’s house!
Shivamogga, May 13: The incident took place on May 13 when the police detained the Youth Congress workers who tried to lay siege to Lok Sabha member BY Raghavendra’s residence in Vinobanagar, Shivamogga.
The Congress workers who were going in a protest march towards the MP’s house were stopped by the police at the Vinobanagar police chowki circle. During this, a scuffle took place between the police and the workers.
Finally, the police took the protesters into custody and took them away in vehicles. Later, they were released.
