ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 15: ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಬೈಕ್ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ರಸ್ತೆ ದಾಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಆಲ್ಕೋಳ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇ 13 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಾಗಿ (ನೇರ ಪಾವತಿ) ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ, ಗುತ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ (44) ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆಲ್ಕೋಳ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಬೈಕ್ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದೆ. ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು, ವಾಹನವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಗ್ಗಾನ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅಸುನೀಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೈಕ್ ಚಾಲಕನ ಅಜಾಗರೂಕ, ವೇಗದ ಚಾಲನೆಯೇ ಅವಘಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Accident at Alkola Circle in Shivamogga – Municipal Corporation Civil Servant Dies!
Shivamogga, May 15: A person who was crossing the road died after being hit by a speeding bike in Alkola Circle of Shivamogga city on the evening of May 13.
The deceased has been identified as Ranganath (44), a resident of Guthyappa Colony, who works as a municipal worker (direct payment) in the Municipal Corporation.
He had come to Alkola Circle for work. At this time, a bike coming from the direction of Gadikoppa hit him. Ranganath, who was seriously injured, died on the way to the Government Megan Hospital in a vehicle.
A complaint has been filed with the police alleging that the reckless and speeding driving of the bike driver was the cause of the accident. A case has been registered in this regard at the West Traffic Police Station.
