ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜುಲೈ 11: ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರವನ್ನು, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಮೆರೆದು, ಜನಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದ ಘಟನೆ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
9/07/2026 ರಂದು ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜಮ್ಮ ಎಂಬುವರು ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ 14 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹುಡಿಕಿದರೂ ಸರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಸದರಿ ಸರವು ಎನ್.ಟಿ. ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬುವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು. ವಾರಸುದಾರರು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾಮಪ್ಪರವರು ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಮಂಜಮ್ಮ ಅವರು ಸರ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಗಿರುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಲು ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಮಂಜಮ್ಮರಿಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ, ರಾಮಪ್ಪರ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ತಾಳಿ ಸರ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಮಪ್ಪರವರ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Ramappa of Holehonnur showed his honesty by returning a necklace found on the road
Shivamogga, July 11: An incident took place in Holehonnur town of Bhadravati taluk where a person showed his honesty and earned public praise by returning a necklace that a woman had lost.
On 9/07/2026, a woman named Manjamma had accidentally lost a necklace weighing 14 grams. She searched everywhere but could not find the necklace.
In the meantime, the necklace was found by a woman named Ramappa. Since the heirs could not be found, Ramappa went to the Holehonnur police station and informed about the discovery of the necklace.
The police located Manjamma, who had lost the necklace, and returned the necklace through Ramappa. Local citizens have expressed their appreciation for Ramappa’s honesty.
