ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜುಲೈ 18: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಸೂರಿನಡಿ ತರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ “ಆಡಳಿತ ಸೌಧ” ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಜವಳಿ ಮೂಲಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಚೇತನ್ ಕೆ. ಗೌಡರವರು ಲೋಕೋಪಯೋಗಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಸತೀಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಚಿವರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಚೇತನ್ ಕೆ. ಗೌಡ ಅವರು, ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಯೋಜನಾ ವರದಿ (DPR) ಹಾಗೂ ಪೂರಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವದ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬಾಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಭರಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಕ್ಕೆ ಅನಗತ್ಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಈ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು ನಗರದ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಹರಿದು ಹಂಚಿಹೋಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ರೈತರು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತೀವ್ರ ಪರದಾಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನೂತನ ಆಡಳಿತ ಸೌಧ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಜಾಗವು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ 500 ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ತಲುಪಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಹೊರೆಯೂ ತಪ್ಪಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಚೇತನ್ ಕೆ ಗೌಡ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಎಸ್ಸಿ-ಎಸ್ಟಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪಲ್ಲವಿರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Chethan K. Gowda appeals to PWD Minister for construction of state-of-the-art ‘Administrative Building’ in Shivamogga
Shivamogga, July 18: The aim is to bring all important government offices under one roof for the overall development of Shivamogga city and the benefit of the public. For this, regarding the construction of a new “Administrative Building” in Shivamogga city, Chethan K. Gowda, Chairman of Karnataka State Textile Infrastructure Development Corporation, has submitted an appeal to Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi.
Chethan K. Gowda, who met the minister at his official residence in Bengaluru, requested him to release the necessary funds for this important project at the earliest and start the work. He handed over copies of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and supporting documents submitted to the government by the Shivamogga District Collector’s Office to the minister on the occasion.
Currently, many important government offices in Shivamogga city are functioning on a rental basis in privately owned buildings. Due to this, the government has to bear lakhs of rupees in rent every month, which is an unnecessary financial burden on the exchequer. Moreover, since these offices are spread out in different parts of the city, the public and farmers are struggling to complete the work of various departments in a single day, he said.
The land identified for the construction of the new administrative building is just 500 meters away from the Shivamogga main bus stand. It is a central location that is easily accessible for the common people coming from different parts of the district.
The minister has been informed that if this project is implemented, it will not only benefit the public at large, but will also reduce the financial burden on the government. Chethan K Gowda said that the minister has responded positively to this important project and has assured full cooperation from the government. Pallavi, Chairman of the Karnataka State SC-ST Nomadic Development Corporation, was present on the occasion.
