ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shimoga) : ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ನೆಹರೂ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದ ಎರಡು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಎಸ್. ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪರವರು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ದುಃಖ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ರಂದನದ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಅಂಗಾಂಗ ದಾನದಂತಹ ಉದಾತ್ತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಇತರರ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ .
ಗಿರೀಶ್ (16 ವರ್ಷ) : ಶಿರಾಳಕೊಪ್ಪ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ರೂಪ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರ್ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ 16 ವರ್ಷದ ಸುಪುತ್ರ ಕು.ಗಿರೀಶ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗಿದ್ದರು . ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 06.03.2026 ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಿಮ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊನೆಯುಸಿರೆಳೆದರು .
ಮಗನ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ತೀವ್ರ ನೋವಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಪೋಷಕರು ಅಂಗಾಂಗ ದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾದರು. ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಅವರ ದೇಹದಿಂದ ಪಡೆದ ಲಿವರ್, ಎಡ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲ ಭಾಗದ ಮೂತ್ರಕೋಶಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೃದಯದ ಕವಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವದ ಉಳಿವಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಸಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೀರ್ತನ : ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯ ನೀಲಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರ್ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಕು|| ಕೀರ್ತನ ಹಠಾತ್ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೈಪರೀತ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅಕಾಲಿಕ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು . ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಅಸಹನೀಯ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಈ ಪೋಷಕರು ಅಂಗಾಂಗ ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಕೀರ್ತನ ಅವರ ದೇಹದಿಂದ ಪಡೆದ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು (ಲಿವರ್, ಎರಡೂ ಮೂತ್ರಕೋಶಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೃದಯದ ಕವಾಟಗಳು) ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಸಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಾರ್ಥಕ ಬದುಕು: ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾವು ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಸಾರ್ಥಕಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜೀವಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಆಶಾಕಿರಣವಾದ ಎರಡೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಶುಭ ದಿನದಂದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನಾ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದೆ .
Honoring Families Who Brought Light Through Organ Donation | Shivamogga: During the Independence Day celebrations held at Nehru Stadium, Shivamogga, the state government honored two families who delivered a profound humanitarian message to society by donating the organs of their deceased children.
The felicitation was carried out by S. Madhu Bangarappa, Minister for School Education and Literacy and District In-charge Minister, who presented appreciation certificates on behalf of the government.
Despite the unbearable grief of losing their children, these families chose the noble path of organ donation, saving the lives of four individuals and bringing light into otherwise darkened lives.
Case 1: Girish, son of Roopa and Kumar of Shiralakoppa, met with a road accident. Despite treatment, he passed away on March 6, 2026 at KIMS Hospital, Bengaluru. In their moment of deep sorrow, his parents consented to organ donation. His liver, both kidneys, and heart valves were successfully transplanted, giving new life to four patients.
Case 2: Keerthana, daughter of Neelamma and Kumar of Bhadravati, died suddenly due to a health complication. Even in the midst of unbearable grief, her parents chose organ donation. Her liver, both kidneys, and heart valves were transplanted, saving four lives.
A Meaningful Legacy : By turning their children’s tragic deaths into a source of hope, both families gave new life to others. Recognizing this noble act, the government honored them with commendation certificates on Independence Day.
