ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 01: : ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ, ಯುವ ಮುಖಂಡ ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹಾಲಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹೆಚ್ ಎಸ್ ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಲಾಬಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ದೆಹಲಿ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲ ನಾಯಕರು ಕಸರತ್ತು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿತ್ತು.
ಆದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಲಾಬಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯುವ ಮುಖಂಡ ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಲಾಬಿಗೆ ಮಣೆ ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವಕಾಶ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶ ರವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರ : ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಎನ್ಎಸ್’ಯುಐ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ, ಯುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆಯೇ ಹಲವು ಹೋರಾಟಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಳೆದೆರೆಡು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಗೆ, ಇದೀಗ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಬಯಸದೆ ಬಂದ ಭಾಗ್ಯದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷ ನಿಷ್ಠೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಆಪ್ತರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಪಕ್ಷ ನಿಷ್ಠ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆ ದೊರಕಲು ಬಿ ವಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರೇ?!
*** ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸೇವಾದಳದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ, ಮೂಲತಃ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರದವರಾದ ಬಿ ವಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅವರು, ತವರೂರು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಾಳೇಯದಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಘಟಾನುಘಟಿ ನಾಯಕರು ನಿಗಮ ಮಂಡಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಭಾರೀ ಕಸರತ್ತು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ತಲೆಕೆಳಗಾಗುವಂತೆ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಗೌಡ ಗೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೋಟಾದಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಜವಳಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿ ವಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದೀಗ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಸಿ ಜಿ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಗೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನ ದೊರಕಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿ ವಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಾಳೇಯದಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ.

Shivamogga, October 30: In a significant and surprising move, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has issued an order appointing young leader C.G. Madhusudan as the Chairman of the Shivamogga-Bhadravathi Urban Development Authority. The tenure of the incumbent Chairman, H.S. Sundaresh, had previously been extended. Intense lobbying for the chairmanship had been underway among Congress leaders; reports indicated that several leaders were actively maneuvering for the position not only in Bengaluru but also at the Delhi level.

*** B.V. Srinivas, the National President of the Congress Seva Dal—who hails from Bhadravathi in Shivamogga district—is reportedly playing a pivotal role in securing high-ranking positions for loyal, ordinary party workers from his home district of Shivamogga.
During Siddaramaiah’s tenure as Chief Minister, prominent Congress leaders from Shivamogga district had made strenuous efforts to secure positions in various boards and corporations. However, defying all expectations, K. Chetan—an ordinary young party worker—was appointed as the Chairman of the State Textile Corporation under the Shivamogga district quota. B.V. Srinivas was credited with facilitating this appointment.
Now, a similar appointment has taken place during D.K. Shivakumar’s tenure as Deputy Chief Minister. C.G. Madhusudan, an ordinary party worker, has secured the position of Chairman of the Shivamogga-Bhadravathi Urban Development Authority. Within Congress circles, it is widely believed that B.V. Srinivas was the key figure behind this appointment as well.
