ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26: ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಜಾಡಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕನೋರ್ವ, ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಘಟನೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26 ರಂದು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯ ಅಬ್ಬಲಗೆರೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ತುಂಗಾ ನಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಬೊಮ್ಮನಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ಎಲ್’ಸಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೃಷ್ಣ (16) ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಬಾಲಕ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇಂದು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ರಜೆಯಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಬ್ಬಲಗೆರೆಯ ತುಂಗಾ ನಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಾಡಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಕ ಮುಳುಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ ತಂಡ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ನಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಕ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಬಾಲಕನ ಸುಳಿವು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಾದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.’
Shivamogga: SSLC boy drowns after going for a swim! | Shivamogga, August 26: A boy who had gone for a swim with his friends drowned on August 26 in the Tunga canal near Abbalagere on the outskirts of Shivamogga city.
Krishna (16), a resident of Bangarappa Ashraya Barangay in Bommanakkatte and studying SSLC in a private school, has been identified as the boy who drowned.
He had gone for a swim in the Tunga canal in Abbalagere with his friends today as it was a holiday for school. It is learnt that the boy accidentally drowned in the water.
As soon as the matter was known, a fire brigade team reached the spot and conducted a search operation for the boy in the canal. However, no trace of the boy was found. The search operation was called off due to darkness.
