ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು 12. 30 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಈ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮರಳು ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಅವರು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲ ದಂಧೆಕೋರರು ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ಲಸದೆ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಸಿನಿಮೀಯ ಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಸಿಬಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಅವರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ : ಗಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಭೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಅವರು, ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮರಳು ಅಡ್ಡೆ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಬಯಲಿಗೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಸದರಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಗ್ರಹ ನಾಗರೀಕರದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
