ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 26: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಹೆಚ್ ಎಸ್ ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 28 ಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಶತಾಯಗತಾಯ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಗದ್ದುಗೆಯೇರಲು ಕೆಲ ನಾಯಕರು ಭಾರೀ ಲಾಬಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬರಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕೆಲ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವರಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ತಮಗೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ನಡೆ ನಿಗೂಢ : ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ, ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹೆಚ್ ಎಸ್ ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಕೆಲ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ಅವರ ನಡೆಯು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿಗೂಢವಾಗಿದೆ!
ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳು : ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಭಾರೀ ದೊಡ್ಡದಿದೆ. ದಿನಕ್ಕೊಬ್ಬರ ಹೆಸರು ಕೇಳ ಬರಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಯಾರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಎಂಬ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಾಳೇಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಬಿಸಿ ಬಿಸಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆಡೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
ಹೆಸರು! : ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಲಭ್ಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ಅನುಸಾರ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಬಲ್ಕೀಷ್ ಭಾನು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆರ್ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಕುಮಾರ್, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯ ಶಾಸಕ ಬಿ ಕೆ ಸಂಗಮೇಶ್ವರ್ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರ ಬಿ ಕೆ ಮೋಹನ್, ಮಾಜಿ ಮೇಯರ್ ಎಸ್ ಕೆ ಮರಿಯಪ್ಪ, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಎಂ ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್, ಹೆಚ್ ಸಿ ಯೋಗೇಶ್, ಕೆ ರಂಗನಾಥ್, ಕಲೀಂ ಪಾಷ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ.
ಸಿಎಂ – ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಫೈನಲ್ : ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುವುದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಹುತೇಕ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಬೀಳಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಉನ್ನತ ಮೂಲಗಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತವೆ.
ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನೇಮಕ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ : ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ನೇಮಕ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಗುವ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿವೆ.

Shimoga, February 26: The two-year tenure of the current president of the Shimoga–Bhadravati Urban Development Authority, H. S. Sundresh, will end on February 28. Meanwhile, there is intense
competition within the Congress party for the president’s post. Reports suggest that several leaders are lobbying hard to secure the position.
Some aspirants have already begun meeting senior party leaders in Bengaluru. It is said that they have approached Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar, and District In-charge Minister Madhu Bangarappa, requesting that they be appointed to the post.
Sundresh’s Move Mysterious: On the other hand, there are reports that Sundresh may continue as president. The possibility of extending his tenure for a few more months cannot be ruled out. His next move remains a mystery.
Growing Aspirants: The number of aspirants for the president’s post is quite large, with new names surfacing almost daily. This has sparked curiosity within Congress circles and led to heated discussions.
Influential Names: According to available information, the names being considered include MLC Balkish Bhanu, District Congress President R. Prasanna Kumar, former Mayor S. K. Mariyappa, leaders M. Srikanth, H. C. Yogesh, K. Ranganath, Kaleem Pasha, and B. K. Mohan of Bhadravati, among others.
CM–DCM to Decide: The final decision on who will be appointed as president will be taken jointly by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. Sources suggest that the appointment order may be issued after the completion of the budget process.
Administrator Appointment Possible: There are indications that the appointment of a new president may be delayed. In that case, once Sundresh’s tenure ends, the District Commissioner may be appointed as the administrator of the authority.
