ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 24: ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಗಂಡಾಂತರಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿರುವ, ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಾಹನ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯಿರುವ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರ ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಗೆ ಕಾಯಕಲ್ಪ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 24 ರಂದು ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್, ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸ್ವಪ್ನಾ ಮತ್ತವರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಅಹವಾಲು ಆಲಿಸಿದರು.
‘ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪೋರ್ಟೆಬಲ್ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಲೈಟ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕೂಡ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗಂಡಾಂತರಕಾರಿ : ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಾಹನ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿದ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಸಂಚರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ದಾಟಿ ಶಾಲೆ – ಮನೆಗೆ ಓಡಾಡುವುದು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹಲವು ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದರಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಲೈಟ್ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಆಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ‘ಉದಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ’ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಕೂಡ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆಡಳಿತದ ಕಣ್ತೆರೆಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರರವರು ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಪಾನ್ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲಿವೇಟರ್, ಲಿಫ್ಟ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಸ್ಕೈ ವಾಕರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೂಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಪಾನ್ ಮಾದರಿ ಸ್ಕೈ ವಾಕರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಸದರ ಕ್ರಮ
*** ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಐದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಗಮ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ, ಜಪಾನ್ ದೇಶದ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲಿವೇಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಲಿಫ್ಟ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಸ್ಕೈ ವಾಕರ್ ಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರರವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಲ್ಕೋಳ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಸೇರಿವೆ. ಸದರಿ ಸಕರ್ಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕೈ ವಾಕರ್ ಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂಸದರ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

*** ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಂತಿರುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಬಳಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಬಿ ಅವರು ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸದರಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆಯತ್ತ ಚಿತ್ತ ಹರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

*** ‘ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪೋರ್ಟೆಬಲ್ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಲೈಟ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕೂಡ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಗಾಡಿಕೊಪ್ಪ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
National Highway dangerous for school children: Shivamogga Traffic Police to revive!
Shivamogga, April 24: The traffic police have taken the initiative to revive the National Highway Circle in Gadikoppa, Shivamogga city, which has become dangerous for government school children and is experiencing heavy traffic.
In this regard, on April 24, Traffic Inspector Devaraj, Sub-Inspector Swapna and their staff visited the circle near the government school in Gadikoppa and inspected it. They listened to the complaints of local citizens.
Inspector Devaraj assured local citizens that ‘All necessary safety measures will be taken to ensure that government school children and pedestrians can cross the highway safely. A temporary portable signal light system will also be installed on the circle in a few days.
Dangerous: There is a government school adjacent to the national highway. Hundreds of students are studying in the said school. However, due to heavy traffic on the highway and vehicles plying at excessive speed, it has become difficult for children to cross the highway to go to school and home. Many school children have already been injured in accidents.
In this context, local citizens have been continuously urging the administration to take necessary safety measures, including installing signal lights in the said circle. ‘Udaya Sakshi’ Digital News has also been continuously reporting on this and is doing the work of opening the eyes of the administration.
As a result of all this, recently Lok Sabha member B Y Raghavendra has instructed the National Highways Department to take steps to construct a state-of-the-art sky walker with elevator and lift facilities on the Japanese model in Gadikoppa Circle. He had asked the Central Government to submit a proposal in this regard.
In the meantime, the Police Department has also made a sincere effort to facilitate government school children and local citizens. Parents of school children and local citizens have expressed appreciation for the said work.
MP’s action for construction of Japanese-style skywalker
*** Lok Sabha member BY Raghavendra has instructed the National Highways Department to take steps to construct state-of-the-art skywalkers with elevators and lifts on the Japanese model in five major circles of Shivamogga city for smooth vehicle movement and pedestrian safety. This includes Gadikoppa and Alkola circles. Local citizens have expressed appreciation for the MP’s action for the construction of skywalkers in the said circles.
SP Nikhil B’s instruction
*** District Safety Officer Nikhil B has instructed the Traffic Police to take all necessary precautions for the safe movement of students near the National Highway Circle adjacent to the Gadikoppa Government School. In this context, the traffic police have focused on implementing the necessary measures, including installing a temporary signal at the said circle.
