ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 01. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆಯ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು, ಡ್ರೋಣ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಪರಾಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ಪೀಟ್ ಜೂಜೂಕೋರರನ್ನು, ಡ್ರೋಣ್ ಕಣ್ಗಾವಲು ಮೂಲಕ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮದ್ಯ ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಕೋಟೆಗಂಗೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗಲು ವೇಳೆಯೇ, ಮದ್ಯಪಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಡ್ರೋಣ್ ಕ್ಯಾಮರ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

Shivamogga, May 01. The police department has started investigating criminal activities in various deserted areas of the district including the outskirts of Shivamogga city through drones.
Recently, a case was registered against the accused after spotting gamblers using drones in the limits of Holehonnur police station. Following this, a case was registered against those who were consuming alcohol in public places on the outskirts of Shivamogga city.
Drone cameras have detected groups of people who were drinking alcohol and behaving indecently in public places in Kotegangur village during the day. Based on this, the rural station police have identified the accused and registered a case, the police department said in a statement.
