ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜೂನ್ 22: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಜೂನ್ 22 ರಂದು ಶಾಸಕ ಚನ್ನಬಸಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಂಡು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೆ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ವರ್ತಕರು ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ಕೊರತೆ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಶಾಸಕರ ಬಳಿ ಅಹವಾಲು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ : ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಆವರಣದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಾಸಕರು ಖುದ್ದು ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು. ಫುಟ್’ಪಾತ್ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ, ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಗೃಹಗಳ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಆಸನಗಳ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೀಗ ಹಾಕಿರುವುದು, ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಅಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶಾಸಕರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗಬೇಕು : ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಲೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಹಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವೆಡೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾಗಳ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗಸ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಶಾಸಕ ಚನ್ನಬಸಪ್ಪರವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Shivamogga Private Bus Stand Chaos: MLA’s Stern Warning!
Shivamogga, June 22: On June 22, MLA Channabasappa visited the private bus stand in Shivamogga along with officials from the City Corporation and the Police Department to conduct an inspection.
During the visit, he expressed anger at the disorder prevailing in the bus stand and criticized the concerned officials. He instructed them to resolve the issues within a fixed timeframe. Passengers and local traders also submitted complaints to the MLA regarding the lack of basic infrastructure at the bus stand.
Discontent: The MLA personally inspected various sections of the bus stand. He expressed dissatisfaction over footpath encroachments, poor maintenance of rest houses, inadequate seating arrangements, toilets being locked, and the absence of drinking water in the purification unit.
Must be resolved: The MLA emphasized that all essential facilities for passengers must be provided at the bus stand. No lapses should be tolerated. Measures must be taken to ensure the safety of passengers, especially women. He directed that modern CCTV cameras be installed wherever necessary and that police patrolling be strengthened.
