ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivanogga), ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 25: ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಂದಾಸ್ ಆಗಿ ಓಡಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರನ್ನು, ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಡೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬುದ್ದಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿ ಮರಳಿ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ನ ತರಗತಿ ಅವಧಿಯ ವೇಳೆ, ಪಾಠ-ಪ್ರವಚನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗದ ಕೆಲ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಯುವಕ – ಯುವತಿಯರು ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದೆ ವೇಳೆ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಸ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಡೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಸದರಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಗೆ ಚಕ್ಕರ್ ಹಾಕಿ, ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಗತಿ ಬಾಯ್ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ದಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೋಕ್ಸೋ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕಾನೂನುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿ, ಮರಳಿ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Shivamogga: What did the ‘Akka Pade’ (Women’s Safety Squad) do to students skipping college to roam Gandhi Park? | Shivamogga, September 25: An incident occurred where the ‘Akka Pade’ police counseled and sent back to college a group of male and female students who were casually roaming Gandhi Park instead of attending classes.
During college hours, some young men and women were found wandering in Gandhi Park instead of participating in their academic lessons.
Personnel from the ‘Akka Pade’ squad, who were on patrol in the park, questioned the students. The students admitted that they had skipped college to spend time in the park.
The personnel counseled the students, raised awareness about the POCSO Act and other laws relevant to students, and sent them back to their colleges.
