Bhadravati, February 08: A notorious rowdy-sheeter who attempted to attack police officers with stones and a knife was shot in the leg and arrested near Gaurapura, close to Shivani Cross in Bhadravati, on the evening of February 7. The accused has been identified as Ditchi Mubarak. He sustained injuries from the gunshot and was initially treated at Bhadravati Government Hospital before being shifted to McGann Government Hospital in Shivamogga for further treatment. Police officers PSI Krishna, Siddappa, and staff member Adarsh were injured in the incident and admitted to the hospital. Background of the incident: Just on Friday, Ditchi Mubarak had been released on bail from jail.
