ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ (bhadravathi), ಫೆ. 24: ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೆ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಓರ್ವನ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಫೆ. 24 ರಂದು ಮತ್ತೋರ್ವ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಕ್ಲಾರ್ಕ್ ಪೇಟೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶಾಹೀದ್ (25) ಬಂಧಿತ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಈತನ ಹಲ್ಲೆಯಿಂದ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಿ ಕೆ ಮಿಥುನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶಾಹೀದ್ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಆತನ ವಿರುದ್ದ 12 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿವೆ. ಈತ ಪೊಲೀಸರೊಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ.

ಈತನ ಇರುವಿಕೆ ಸುಳಿವು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಫೆ. 24 ರ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲು ಪೇಪರ್ ಟೌನ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನಾಗಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತವರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು.

ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಎಂಬುವರ ಮೇಲೆಯ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಲು ಆರೋಪಿ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನಾಗಮ್ಮ ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಯ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಕ್ರಿಯ : ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮರಳು ದಂಧೆಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ, ದಂಧೆಕೋರರು ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ಘಟನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳು ಹೊಡೆದಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ನಂತರ, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು – ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದ್ದವು.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಟೀಕೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ಸ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸೆದೆಬಡಿಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಲಯದ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.
