ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ (bhadravathi), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 08: ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ಹಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ಕುಖ್ಯಾತ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 7 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯ ಶಿವನಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಮೀಪದ ಗೌರಪುರದ ಬಳಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಡಿಚ್ಚಿ ಮುಬಾರಕ್ ಬಂಧಿತ ರೌಡಿ ಶೀಟರ್ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗುಂಡೇಟಿನಿಂದ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆರೋಪಿಗೆ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಗ್ಗಾನ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಗಳಾದ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಸಿದ್ದಪ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಆದರ್ಶ ಎಂಬುವರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ಶುಕ್ರವಾರವಷ್ಟೆ ಜೈಲ್ ನಿಂದ ಬೇಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಡಿಚ್ಚಿ ಮುಬಾರಕ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಶನಿವಾರ ತನ್ನ ಏಳೆಂಟು ಸಹಚರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೈಕ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಕಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಆರೋಪಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಸಹಚರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಹಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದ.
ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಕೃಷ್ಣಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾನೆ ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿ ಶರಣಾಗುವಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಆರೋಪಿಯು ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ದಾಳಿ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಆರೋಪಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಆತನ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಸಹಚರರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ – ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಬಿ ಅವರು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರು.
Bhadravati: Rowdy-sheeter shot in the leg after attacking police with stones and a knife!
Bhadravati, February 08: A notorious rowdy-sheeter who attempted to attack police officers with stones and a knife was shot in the leg and arrested near Gaurapura, close to Shivani Cross in Bhadravati, on the evening of February 7.
The accused has been identified as Ditchi Mubarak. He sustained injuries from the gunshot and was initially treated at Bhadravati Government Hospital before being shifted to McGann Government Hospital in Shivamogga for further treatment.
Police officers PSI Krishna, Siddappa, and staff member Adarsh were injured in the incident and admitted to the hospital.
Background of the incident: Just on Friday, Ditchi Mubarak had been released on bail from jail. On Saturday, he was reportedly roaming the outskirts of Bhadravati with 7–8 associates in cars and bikes, carrying deadly weapons. Acting on this information, police launched an operation.
During the raid, the accused and his associates attacked the police with stones and knives. PSI Krishnakumar Mane fired a warning shot in the air, instructing them to surrender. However, when Mubarak advanced with a knife, the PSI shot him in the leg. Following this, Mubarak and four of his associates were taken into police custody.
