ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜುಲೈ 08 : ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆ ಬಿರುಸುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನದಿಗಳ ಹರಿವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜಲಾಶಯಗಳಾದ ತುಂಗಾ, ಭದ್ರಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಲಿಂಗನಮಕ್ಕಿ ಡ್ಯಾಂಗಳ ಒಳಹರಿವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣನೀಯ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ.
08/07/2026 ರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯಂತೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜಲ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾದ ಸಾಗರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಲಿಂಗನಮಕ್ಕಿ ಡ್ಯಾಂ ಒಳಹರಿವು 41,792 ಕ್ಯೂಸೆಕ್ ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೊರಹರಿವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಡ್ಯಾಂ ನೀರಿನ ಮಟ್ಟ 1758 (ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟ : 1819) ಅಡಿಯಿದೆ.
ಮಧ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಜಲಾಶಯವಾದ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಬಿಆರ್’ಪಿಯ ಭದ್ರಾ ಡ್ಯಾಂ ಒಳಹರಿವು 17,818 ಕ್ಯೂಸೆಕ್ ಇದ್ದು, 214 ಕ್ಯೂಸೆಕ್ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊರ ಬಿಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಡ್ಯಾಂ ನೀರಿನ ಮಟ್ಟ 142 ಅಡಿ 8 ಇಂಚಿಗೆ (ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟ : 186) ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಗಾಜನೂರಿನ ತುಂಗಾ ಜಲಾಶಯದ ಒಳಹರಿವು 40,144 ಕ್ಯೂಸೆಕ್ ಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಡ್ಯಾಂ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟ ತಲುಪಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಒಳಹರಿವಿನಷ್ಟೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊರ ಬಿಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಮಳೆ ವಿವರ : ಜುಲೈ 8 ರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಕಳೆದ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಘಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಮಳೆ ವಿವರ ಈ ಮುಂದಿನಂತಿದೆ.
ಮಾಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 211 ಮಿಲಿ ಮೀಟರ್ (ಮಿ.ಮೀ.), ಯಡೂರು 200 ಮಿ.ಮೀ., ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ 227 ಮಿ.ಮೀ., ಮಾಸ್ತಿಕಟ್ಟೆ 195 ಮಿ.ಮೀ., ಚಕ್ರಾ 152 ಮಿ.ಮಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾವೇಹಕ್ಲುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ 148 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮಳೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
Heavy rains in the Western Ghats: Increase in inflows of Linganamakki, Tunga, Bhadra dams
Shivamogga, July 08: Heavy rains have occurred in Malnad. Due to this, there has been an increase in the flow of rivers. There has been a significant increase in the inflows of major reservoirs such as Tunga, Bhadra and Linganamakki dams.
As of 8 am on 08/07/2026, the inflow of Linganamakki dam in Sagar taluk, the main hydroelectric power generation center of the state, has increased to 41,792 cusecs. The outflow has been completely stopped. The current dam water level is 1758 feet (maximum level: 1819).
The inflow of Bhadra dam of BRP in Bhadravati taluk, the main reservoir of Central Karnataka, is 17,818 cusecs, and 214 cusecs of water is being released. The water level in the dam has risen to 142 feet 8 inches (maximum level: 186).
The inflow of the Tunga reservoir in Gajanur, Shimoga taluk, has risen to 40,144 cusecs. As the dam has already reached its maximum level, only the inflow is being released.
