ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 31: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ – ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ತಂಡವು, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 31 ರಂದು ನಗರದ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬಜಾರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಡೀರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ನಿಷೇಧಿತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳು, ಗೋದಾಮು ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಂಡ ದಿಡೀರ್ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ನಿಷೇಧಿತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಕ್ಯಾರಿ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಮತ್ತೀತರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಇಬ್ಬರು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಲಾ 10 ಸಾವಿರದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ 20 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿದೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷೇಧಿತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ರೀತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಂಡ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ದಾಳಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಾಲಕ ಅಭಿಯಂತರ (ಎಇಇ) ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್, ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳಾದ ಲೋಹಿತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ವಿಕಾಸ್, ಶೈಲಜಾ, ಸುರೇಶ್, ರವಿ ಹೆಚ್ ಕೆ, ನವೀನ್, ಸಾಗರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಇತರೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ನಂತರವೂ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಗಳು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
Sudden raid on Gandhi Bazaar Road in Shivamogga: Banned plastic seized! | Shivamogga, August 31: A team of officers and staff of the Health Department of the Shivamogga Municipal Corporation conducted a sudden operation on Gandhi Bazaar Road in the city on August 31 and seized banned plastic.
A team of officers conducted a sudden raid on plastic shops and warehouses. During this, they found banned plastic carry bags and other items being sold and seized them.
Two traders were fined Rs. 10,000 each, totaling Rs. 20,000. The team of officers warned the traders that legal action will be taken if they sell banned plastic in the future.
The raid was carried out by the Municipal Corporation Health Department’s Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Prabhakar, Health Inspectors Lohit Kumar, Vasant Kumar, Vikas, Shailaja, Suresh, Ravi HK, Naveen, Sagar and other departmental staff. The operation, which began in the morning, continued into the afternoon, and more details are yet to be made available.
