ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 31: ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿ, ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಶಾಸಕ ಡಿ ಎಸ್ ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ 1 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಟೀಚರ್ಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ ಬಿ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಸಂಘದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಡಾವಣೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡು ಎರಡು ದಶಕಗಳಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಿಲ್ಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆ ಎದುರಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳ ಡಾಂಬರೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಯುಜಿಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೈಮಾಸ್ಟ್ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದೀಪಗಳ ಅಳವಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮ ಉಪಕರಣ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆಟದ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಬಡಾವಣೆಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಂತಿರುವ ಕೆರೆ ನಾಲೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಮಳೆಗಾಲದ ವೇಳೆ ಬಡಾವಣೆಗೆ ನೀರು ನುಗ್ಗದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಾಸಕರ ಭರವಸೆ : ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಶಾಸಕ ಡಿ ಎಸ್ ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮನವಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಬಿ ರೇಣುಕೇಶ್, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಷಡಕ್ಷರಿ, ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶಿವು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga: Residents submit petition to MLA D.S. Arun
Shivamogga, March 31: Seeking action to resolve infrastructure problems, residents of Teachers’ Colony in Ward No. 1 of the City Corporation submitted a petition to Legislative Council member D.S. Arun.
The petition was presented at the MLA’s office under the leadership of the Welfare Association of KHB Press Colony residents. Despite the layout being established two decades ago, proper infrastructure facilities have not yet been provided. Residents stated that the Corporation administration has failed to offer basic amenities, causing them severe difficulties.
The demands include:
- Asphalt (tar) roads in the colony
- Underground drainage system
- Installation of high-mast electric lights
- Development of the park with exercise equipment and children’s play materials
- Improvement of the adjoining lake and canal to prevent flooding during the rainy season
MLA’s assurance: D.S. Arun promised that discussions would be held with the Corporation administration regarding the colony’s problems, and steps would be taken to resolve them within a set timeframe.
During the submission of the petition, Association President and journalist B. Renukesh, along with leaders Shadakshari, Kumar, Shivu, and others, were present.
