ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (bangalore), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 17: ದಿಡೀರ್ ಆಗಿ ಗೃಹ ಬಳಕೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಗೆ 56 ಪೈಸೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನೂತನ ದರ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಎಸ್ಕಾಂಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದವು. ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ 2024-25 ರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ 34,084 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಇಆರ್’ಸಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ 32,019 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿತ್ತು. 2,068 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಕೊರತೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಸರಿದೂಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಎಸ್ಕಾಂಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಆಯೋಗವು ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
