ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು, ಆನವೇರಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ, ಗುಡುಗು ಸಹಿತ ಬಿದ್ದ ಭಾರೀ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಹಾನಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿರುವ ವರದಿಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ.
ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಮೈದೊಳಲು, ಅಗರದಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಗುಡುಮಗಟ್ಟೆ, ಮಂಗೋಟೆ, ನಾಗಸಮುದ್ರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಅಡಕೆ, ತೆಂಗಿನಮರಗಳು ಉರುಳಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ. ಮನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ಛಾವಣಿಗಳು ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.
ಎಲ್ಲೆಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಗಳು ಉರುಳಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆಡಳಿತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಾವ್ಯಾವ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬಿತ್ಯಾದಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಗಳು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
Heavy rains cause heavy damage in many places in Shivamogga Rural Assembly constituency: Villagers are in distress!
Shivamogga, April 26: Reports have been received that heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on the evening of April 26 have caused immense damage in the villages around Holehonnur and Anaveri in Shivamogga Rural Assembly constituency.
In many villages including Malligenahalli, Maidolalu, Agaradahalli, Gudumagatte, Mangote, Nagasamudra, a large number of coconut and coconut trees have fallen in the gardens due to the heavy rains. There are reports that the roofs of houses have been blown off.
Electricity poles have been damaged due to trees falling everywhere. There has been disruption in power supply in many villages. It is learnt that the villagers are in serious trouble.
So far, local officials have visited the villages but no relief measures have been taken. The villagers have demanded that immediate administrative action be taken to resolve the problem. More details, such as the extent of damage in which villages, are yet to be known.
