ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 10: ಬಾಲಕಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದ ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವನಿಗೆ 20 ವರ್ಷ ಕಠಿಣ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ 2.50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ (FTSC-1) ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ 22 ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವಕನೇ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದವನು. ನೊಂದ ಬಾಲಕಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ 2.25 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾದ ನಿಂಗನಗೌಡ ಭ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಈ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಅವರು ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : 2022 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಯುವಕನು 15 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದ್ದ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಂದಿನ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಎಎಸ್ಪಿ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೀತೇಂದ್ರಕುಮಾರ್ ದಯಾಮಾ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Bhadravati youth sentenced to 20 years in prison – Rs. 2.50 lakh fine imposed by Shivamogga court!
Shivamogga, May 10: The Additional District and Sessions Court (FTSC-1) of Shivamogga has sentenced a youth to 20 years in prison and a fine of Rs. 2.50 lakh for sexually assaulting a girl.
The 22-year-old youth, a resident of Bhadravati, has been sentenced to prison. The court has ordered a compensation of Rs. 2.25 lakh to the aggrieved girl.
Judge Ninganagouda Bha Patil gave this verdict. Government prosecutor Sridhar argued on behalf of the government.
Background of the case: The incident took place in 2022. The accused youth had sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. A case was registered in this regard at the Bhadravati Rural Police Station. Jeetendra Kumar Dayama, who was the then Bhadravati ASP, investigated the case and filed a chargesheet in the court.
