ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ (thirthahalli ), ಜೂನ್ 18: ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮಾಳೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಮಹಿಷಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸತ್ಯಸಂಧಗುರು ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಲಗಾರತಿ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಗಾಂಧೀನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ (25) ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೂನ್ 17 ರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ, ಆತನಿಂದ 1.01 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 780 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ 16 ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಲಗಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಜೂನ್ 18 ರಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿ ಡಿವೈಎಸ್ಪಿ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಕಲಗುಂಜಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳಾದ ಇಮ್ರಾನ್ ಬೇಗ್, ರಾಜಶೇಖರ್, ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಲಿಂಗೇಗೌಡ, ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ್, ಕುಮಾರ್, ರವಿ, ಸುರೇಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ್, ಸಂತೋಷ್, ವಿನಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ಧಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ಮಹಿಷಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸತ್ಯಸಂಧಗುರು ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಲಗಾರತಿಗಳು ಕಳವಾಗಿರುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ 17/06/2026 ರಂದು ಮಾಳೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Thirthahalli Math Theft Case : Accused Arrested – Gold Worth Crores Seized!
Tirthahalli, June 18: Police have successfully arrested the accused in the theft case involving gold ornaments worth crores from the Satyasandhaguru Uttaradhi Math in Mahishi village, under the Malur Police Station limits of Tirthahalli taluk.
The arrested accused has been identified as Raghavendra Acharya (25), a resident of Gandhinagar, Shivamogga. On the night of June 17, police apprehended him and recovered 16 gold ornaments weighing 780 grams, according to a press release issued by the department on June 18.
Under the guidance of Tirthahalli DySP Aravind Kalagunji, Inspectors Imran Beg and Rajshekhar, Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar, and staff members Lingegowda, Surakshit, Kumar, Ravi, Suresh Naik, Santosh, and Vinay Kumar succeeded in arresting the accused.
Case Background: On June 17, 2026, a case was registered at Malur Police Station regarding the theft of gold ornaments worth crores from the Satyasandhaguru Uttaradhi Math in Mahishi village.
